Location: Corporate Office/Stores

Job Summary

The preventive maintenance technician will be responsible for ensuring the company’s machines and equipment used in stores are always in perfect working conditions. The preventive maintenance technician will also be responsible for identifying any mechanical fault that may lead to the breakdown of machines and suggest the best ways to mitigate the further problem.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan and coordinate the preventive maintenance requirements of mechanical equipment in each store
• Coordinate with Managers to schedule maintenance and project work
• Coordinate and evaluate outside contractor maintenance work
• Provide mechanical assistance to store managers
• Inspect equipment and recommend repair or replacement when necessary
• Initiate requisitions for necessary equipment materials or contracted repairs
• Perform skilled maintenance work in emergencies
• Maintain log and prepare reports
• Provide documentation of maintenance requirement by estimating time and material costs for repair
• Maintain all equipment used in carrying out job duties
• Inspect and clean all refrigeration equipment (condensers, compressors, fans, drain lines etc.)
• Touch up paint in all location when required
• Exterior cleaning (power wash front, clean awnings etc.)

Qualification and Skills

• Candidates must have practical experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• 3+ years of experience in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral work instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Time management skills and the ability to manage priorities and workflow
